What amendments can be made to a sole proprietorship?

Relocate your sole proprietorship by updating your registered address. You must provide proof of permission to use the new address along with a signed authorization. Adding or Removing Business Activities
You can add or remove business activities (NACE codes). To add new activities, a criminal record certificate from your country of citizenship (or Slovakia, if you have had a Slovak residence permit for more than six months) is required. In some cases, proof of the right to use your business address may also be needed. New activities will be reflected within 4 business days.
Suspending or Closing a Sole Proprietorship
Suspending or closing a sole proprietorship does not exempt you from tax obligations incurred during business operations. You can suspend activities for a period ranging from 6 months to 3 years. Closure or suspension will be processed within 4 business days. Only an identification document and a signed authorization are required.

By law, government authorities must process sole proprietorship amendments within 14 days. However, if you are adding business activities, closing, or temporarily suspending your SP, the processing time is legally limited to 3 days.
